CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE HIERARCHY
A Congressional office starts with the elected official. Then there is the chief of staff, who is the boss of the staff. Below the chief of staff is essentially the leadership team of the office, consisting of the district or state director, the executive assistant, legislative directer, press secretary, and office manager.
